New Bi-Directional Valves can Reduce Circuit Size and Cost
Designed for industry-common 12-size cavities, and utilizing HydraForce’s proven linear solenoid technology, these new valves are rated for pressures up to 3500 psi (240 bar) and regulated flow rates up to 13 gpm (50 lpm). There are three electro-proportional models: two-way normally closed, two-way normally open, and three-way priority normally-closed. There is also a two-way manually-adjustable model. The new ZL Series valves can offer significant cost-saving and space-saving benefits in many hydraulic control systems including mobile and off-highway equipment, material handling and industrial machinery. The unique design of the ZL Series valves is patent pending.

New ZL Series proportional flow control valves are internally pressure-compensated and operate bi-directionally with identical flow characteristics in either direction. With no change in hysteresis between the forward and reverse flow directions, these valves can eliminate the need for separate circuits in many hydraulic control applications that require precise, repeatable, bi-directional operation.
