Overview

Description

The PCV16 is a pilot operated, hydraulic check valve for use in blocking or load holding circuits. The valve allows flow from port "b" to port "a", while normally blocking flow in the opposite direction. Flow will be allowed from "a" to "b" when pressure is applied to port "x". The valve has 3.6:1 pilot ratio, so at least 28% of the load pressure held at port "a" is required at port "x" to open the valve

Cartridge ( CV16-20 ): Weight: 0.29 kg (0.63 lb); Steel with hardened work surfaces. Zinc-plated exposed surfaces; Buna N O-rings and polyester elastomer back-ups standard.

Pilot Piston: Hardened Steel.

Standard Ported Body : Anodized high-strength 6061 T6 aluminum alloy, rated to 207 bar (3000 psi). Ductile iron bodies available; dimensions may differ; consult factory.
