Troubleshooting machine codes can be challenging if you have to send someone into the field. GatE is a remote access software package that enables you to easily troubleshoot machine codes in an encrypted and secure gateway. It also allows for remote monitoring, debugging, software updates, and diagnostics. 

 

Using the GatE Secure Access Solution will help reduce the time it takes to isolate problems. It will also decrease or eliminate the need for field technicians to come on-site. Access to the GatE web portal can be achieved through an internet-connected web browser where you can manage users, licenses, and privileges.

 

GlobE Remote Management Platform 

GlobE gives you the power to manage control systems on your machinery through a browser-based remote management package. You can use it in GlobE in tandem with HydraForce electronic control units. 

 

The IoT GlobE platform allows you to easily store, monitor, and log machine control data, update control system software and adjust machine settings for machine hydraulic settings. Using GlobE will allow you to proactively prevent, report, predict and optimize your machine’s hydraulic control system.

 

ERAU Remote Access Unit 

The EPEC-6200 is designed for use on mobile machines and is a communication link that processes data between your machines and GatE and GlobE. It offers a wide range of use cases, such as communication gateway, remote access, and data collection. 

 

The ERAU-6200 supports the GlobE remote management platform, the GatE secure access solution, and is compatible with the HydraForce line of electronic control units. You can program it with functions from WebVisu, PLCopen libraries, and CoDeSys 3.5.

 

Electronic Control Units (ECUs) 

HydraForce ECUs provide the brains behind the connectivity of your telematic solutions for hydraulic equipment. 

 

For simple control applications, the ECU-0809 offers a single CAN interface whereas larger I/O controls that require two CAN ports can be programmed with the ECU-2820A, ECU-2415A, ECU-0814A, ECU-0809A, and ECU-2434A. The ECU-3232A offers four CAN ports.

Firewall Friendly - The GatE solution is Firewall friendly. Only an outbound connection is required for the SiteManager. (Either port 80 or 443 or 11444).

 

AES 256bit - AES 256bit encrypted tunnel based on TLS.

 

3rd Party Certification - Cyber security due diligence: The entire GatE solution is security audited by 3rd party company (ProtectEm) Audit based on NIST SP800, ISECOM OSSTMM, BSI, ISA99, and IEC62443.

 

Two-Factor Authentication - Password combined with personal security certificates and optionally extended with SMS code validation.

 

User Management - Full control of who can access the SiteManager gateway – even access time frames can be specified at your preference.

 

Device Management - Control who gets access to your devices: full control of which device can be accessed by whom, all the way down to IP address or port level.
