Load lowering control with relief valves is a critical feature in hydraulic systems used for lifting and lowering heavy loads. It enables controlled lowering of a load while providing pressure relief to protect the system from overloading. This feature is essential for safe and precise load handling in material handling, construction, and industrial machinery.
Bosch Rexroth makes two types of load-lowering controls with built-in relief valves. They are poppet-style valves with a flow rate of 90 lpm (23 gpm) and maximum operating pressure of 210 bar (3045 psi).
