Pilot-to-open check valves permit free flow in one direction until a pilot pressure is applied, commonly used in applications requiring control of hydraulic fluid flow based on specific pressure conditions. They play a critical role in maintaining pressure, controlling actuation, and preventing reverse flow in hydraulic circuits.
Bosch Rexroth makes several styles of pilot-to-open check valves, including single and double acting, and single acting vented, for flow ranges from 20 to 100 lpm (xx to xxx gpm) and operating pressures from 210 to 350 bar (3,000 to 5,095 psi).
HydraForce also makes several cartridge-style pilot-to-open check valves. They can be found in the Cartridge Valves section under Directional Control Valves.
