Hydraulic cartridge-style solenoid valves feature electromagnetic actuators to control hydraulic flow. Poppet-type cartridge valves are typically two-way (on/off) valves for load-holding or blocking applications requiring low internal leakage. Spool-type cartridge valves are available in a greater variety of configurations, including 2-, 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-way flow patterns to handle multiple hydraulic functions.
Integral position sensing is now available on select solenoid cartridge valve models.
Bosch Rexroth makes cartridge style solenoid valves for flow rates from 1.5 to 260 lpm (0.4 to 69 gpm) and operating pressures from 250 to 350 bar (3625 to 5076 psi).
HydraForce cartridge style solenoid valves are available for flow rates from 0 to 189+ lpm (0 to 50+ gpm) and operating pressures from 30 to 350 bar (435 to 5075 psi).
